Known for her promotional prowess, Jamie Peha is the principal of Peha Promotions, a creative marketing, public relations and event solutions company with specialty in the wine and culinary arena.She has created and produced literally hundreds of flawless events from the smallest media dinner to festivals of thousands. An idea person with boundless energy and a knack for making the right connections, Jamie’s passion has always been in the culinary world. She is business-focused with a flair for humor and engaging people. Jamie combines her desire to serve and educate people with her passion for food and wine.As the previous director of promotions and sales development for Seattle magazine, Seattle Business Magazine, Seattle Bride and Northwest Home publications Jamie planned hundreds of events, developed numerous value-added programs for lifestyle brands and negotiated beneficial sponsorships to raise awareness and branding for Tiger Oak Publications.
As the former marketing director for the Washington State Wine Commission and as a leader in the field of professional hospitality management, Jamie has had the opportunity to wine and dine around the world, sharing tables and tastes and conducting events with celebrated chefs and talented wine makers. Her engaging personality, ability to think creatively and “make it happen” philosophy fuel her success with new endeavors and collaborative business alliances.
The past four years Jamie has had a successful radio show called TableTalk – Radio that Tastes Good featuring culinary and wine taste makers in the great Northwest. Jamie is a member of the Seattle Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, a worldwide organization of professional women of high achievement in the multifaceted field of food, fine beverage, and hospitality. She is a member of the Chairman’s Board for the Auction of Washington Wines and a board member for the Washington Wine Industry Foundation.
